You don't belong to any specific shelter but use the one that is closest. The brochure points to the map of shelters on msb.se; the map is now at mcf.se/sv/verktyg--tjanster/skyddsrumskarta/. Shelters should have water and simple toilets. If you have time, you should bring something to eat, warm clothes and hygiene items. Be prepared that you may need to stay in the shelter for a few days. In peacetime, shelters may be used for other purposes, but they must be able to be prepared within 48 hours. In case of heightened preparedness, the property owner is responsible for preparation. MCF: shelters are intended for use for up to 3 days, 0.75 m² is counted per person, and animals may not be taken into the shelter.
