Privacy policy

• Completed checklist items, progress, and your notes.
• Your language preference.
• The household plan at /plan, including stock, your routines and review history, and the municipality/P4 reference at /beredskap. They stay on this device. An exported plan file may contain private details; share it only with intended recipients.
• A local page counter and install-prompt status. These are used only on your device and are never transmitted.
• The browser service-worker cache may contain public app files so parts of the app work without a network connection.
• Public signed releases and their version history may be stored in the browser's IndexedDB. Your analytics choice is stored separately.

The app reads this information locally to show your progress, restore your language, and preserve your choices between visits.

We use no advertising and no session recording. We never ask for an email address and no statistics are linked to an identified person.

Delete stored app data

This resets checklists and removes notes, language choice, the page counter, and install-prompt status. Other website data in your browser is not affected.

The button below does not delete the household plan, local municipality/P4 reference, signed releases or analytics choice. The local reference has its own clear control at /beredskap. To remove all storage for this guide, use your browser's clear-site-data setting; this also removes offline content and version history. Export your plan first if you want to keep it.

After you actively say yes, the app sends only these named events to PostHog, hosted in the EU (eu.i.posthog.com):

• dashboard_viewed, the home view is shown.
• section_viewed, a preparedness section is opened (section id).
• checklist_item_toggled, a checklist item is ticked (item id and section, never your note text).
• footer_msb_link_clicked, the link to the original brochure is used.
• Page views and web performance metrics that the PostHog library sends automatically.

No autocapture, no session recording, no sign-in and no email address. Your checklists, progress and notes are saved in the browser. After your consent, however, checklist completion events carry the item and section ids, never your note text. Shopping links in the household planner contain only general product names, search terms or example product pages, never household details.

Only after an active opt-in does PostHog store a random, pseudonymous browser ID in local storage and a cookie to distinguish visits. URLs are sent without query parameters or fragments. Referrals from the household planner are removed.

This independent app uses the linked MCF brochure and source-linked editorial summaries. The English brochure is the 2026 edition “In case of crisis or war.” Current authority guidance takes precedence.

When you use the plugin, ChatGPT sends tool arguments to our server: a search term or guide ID, language and, for water calculations, the number of adults and days. We do not request the full conversation. Do not include personal data, health information, passwords or other sensitive information in tool arguments.

The tools only read public guide content and perform a bounded adult water calculation. They cannot read or change your household plan, inventory or notes. Tool arguments and results are processed temporarily during the request and are not saved in application databases, logs or product analytics. There is therefore no saved application copy of these calls to delete.

The service is hosted by Vercel. Technical information such as IP address, request path, time, status and browser information may be processed for operation and security under the provider’s policies. Platform-log retention depends on the plan and log type; see Vercel’s current logging documentation. Our commitment not to save tool content in the application does not mean that the provider has no technical logs.

OpenAI processes your conversations and tool calls under its own terms and privacy settings. Stop using or disconnect the plugin in ChatGPT to prevent future calls. ChatGPT settings control information saved by OpenAI; this website’s local reset button does not affect it. Contact us at the address below with questions about our processing.
